It's the Hap-happiest time of the year!

It's the Hap-happiest time of the year!

Hello friends! Or should I say Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah and Happy Winter Solstice!  The Holidays are my favorite time of year, the weather is colder, the anticipation of snow hangs in the air, lights are up around the neighborhood and decorating is in full effect!

I am a big time decorator, I count down the days until I get to turn my house into a winter wonderland!  This year, I went to Wight's Wonderland of Christmas to check out their 23,000 square feet of Holiday decorating heaven and I assure you, it was just that!  I actually went THREE times to make sure I knew exactly what they had, what I wanted and what I needed.  I wasn't looking to do a complete decoration overhaul, but I wanted to add to the decorations I have collected over the years and spruce things up a bit, it was perfect!

My first trip was just a scouting trip; I had heard fabulous things about Wight's and I wanted to see it for myself; it was a decorator's dream! Glitter, sparkles, color schemes; I was in awe.  The second trip was a mother-daughter trip; my Mum and I perused the aisles and picked up some key pieces to implement into our existing decorations.

The third trip was a girls night; so fun!  A few of my fellow domestic goddesses and I took Wight's by storm and grabbed some must haves for our Holiday houses.

Last weekend ( I have to wait until after Thanksgiving, per my husband) I set out all my wares and began the task of decorating.  I still have quite a way to go, but I must say, I am loving my new additions and so happy they fit in with what I had to take the look up a notch! Have a peek!

Make sure you check back to see all the ornaments I got once they're on my tree! Can't wait!
